Itinerary

After a leisurely breakfast, explore New Delhi's ornate buildings, which serve as a reminder of
the time when India served as the British Empire's crown jewel. Visit the 11th-century Qutab
Minar, India Gate, and grand government buildings, including the President's House, and
Mahatma Gandhi Monument, Also visit Laxmi Narayan Temple, which is popularly known as the
Birla Temple. Overnight in Delhi.

In the morning, pick up from your hotel and transfer to the railway station to board the air-
conditioned train to Jaipur. Breakfast on the train. Arrive in Jaipur and transfer to the hotel.

City Palace A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace
spans one-seventh of the area of the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, the Shri Govind
Dev Temple, and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR

- This is the largest and best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai
Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory, made up of large astronomical
instruments, is still in use.
The Hawa Mahal - Also known as the "Palace of Winds," is a significant landmark in Jaipur. Its
five-story pink-plastered sandstone buildings are embellished with intricate balconies and
delicate trellises. There are 953 windows and niches in the palace. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh,
the Mahal was a royal box for the ladies of the court. Overnight in Jaipur.

Visit the magnificent Amber Fort in the morning; it is difficult to describe. Ride elephants in the
ancient royal capital against a backdrop of forested hills. Next, travel to Agra en route to visit
Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved red sandstone 'ghost city' that was the separate capital of
the Mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and abandoned when its water supply failed. Arrive in
Agra and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight in Agra.

In the morning, at sunrise, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the
world, surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men worked for
more than 17 years to build this monument to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Also visit the Red
Fort: the majestic and rusty red sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the River Yamuna
and construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. In the Diwan-I-Am (Public Audience
Hall), a hall with red sandstone columns with a marble throne inlaid on the back, the emperor
listened to public petitions. In the Diwan-I-Khas (Private Audience Hall), where flower-inlaid
marble pavilions create an ethereal atmosphere, the Emperor sat on his gem-encrusted
Peacock Throne and met with foreign ambassadors and sovereign friends from the kingdoms.
Later transfer to the railway station to board an overnight train to Varanasi.

Arrive in Varanasi, considered to be the holiest city in India, located on the western bank of the
holy river Ganges. It is also the oldest living city in the world. As a place of devotion and
worship, with hundreds of temples dotting the city, the sunrise across the river, seen from a
boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. It exudes a quality of sublime beauty, a special charm,
and an everlasting, timeless allure. Varanasi is a city that cannot be described, only
experienced. Assistance with the meeting at the train station and the transportation to the
hotel. A later tour of Varanasi, the oldest and holiest city in India, included stops at Aurangzeb’s
Mosque, several temples, and the country's largest university. Aarti ceremony in the evening on

Cruise on the Ganges River in the morning to see how pilgrims live on the Ghats. Trek to
Sarnath, which is 10 kilometers east of Varanasi and is one of India's major Buddhist centers.
After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha reached Sarnath, where he delivered his first
sermon. Visit the deer park and museum, then drive back to Varanasi. Overnight in Varanasi.

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and
transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
