After a leisurely breakfast, proceed with the Old and New Delhi sightseeing tour:
Old Delhi: A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would involve visiting the Raj Ghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and the Red Fort, once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.
New Delhi: An extended New Delhi sightseeing tour would include a visit to Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, a walk along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament Building, and the President's Residence, and it would conclude with a tour of the diplomatic enclave. Overnight in Delhi.
Early morning pickup from your hotel and transfer to the railway station to board the air-conditioned, ultra-fast train to Agra. Breakfast on the train. Arrive in Agra in approximately 02 hours and transfer to the hotel. Next Visit Agra Fort: The rusty, majestic red sandstone Agra Fort stands on the banks of the River Yamuna, and construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. In Al Diwan-I-Am (Public Audience Hall), a pillared hall of red sandstone with an inlaid marble throne at the back, the emperor listened to public petitions. In the Diwan-I-Khas (Private Audience Hall), where flower-inlaid marble pavilions create an ethereal atmosphere, the Emperor sat on his gem-encrusted Peacock Throne and met with foreign ambassadors and sovereign friends from the kingdoms. In the evening, at sunset, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal: one of the seven wonders of the world, surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men worked for more than 17 years to build this monument to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Overnight in Agra.
